A collection of mysterious and drifting pieces of atmospheric ambient music. An exploration of sound and texture using synths, guitars, bells, field recordings and tape loops.

I find creating moods and atmospheres much more satisfying than purely composing tunes. The freedom it gives me also means I am more free to actually express myself than in more traditions forms of music. Ambient music is a joy to create.

These recordings were inspired, in part, by my annual visits to the North Somerset coast with my friend and collaborator Daniel Land. I play keyboards in his band. Check his music out at danielland.bandcamp.com

I will use any means necessary to create the music I want and on here, mixed with the synths and guitars and percussion, are various field recordings. Some obvious, some disguised or buried in the layers of sound.

It is music to get lost in.
