Deep space ambient soundscapes and upbeat electronics.

This month's edition of The Ambient Archives is a collection of recent experiments in largely synth driven ambient electronics (although the guitar features heavily too).

The music is made up of layers of different lengths. I improvise a piece of music then add to it with another sound. As the layers are different lengths, they drift out of sync so the music never exactly repeats itself but also creates new textures and motifs from the original music.

These pieces evolve and take on a life of their own. Some remain peaceful, whereas other become beat driven. It is an organic and satisfying way of making music.
