about

Being a musician can provide some unexpected gifts.
One of these gifts came recently from Robert Matejko aka Robby Baby Dark Poet of Amour.
It is a poem inspired by my song Soothing Image 43.

Listen to the song and read the poem it inspired.

WE DANCED TO THE PIANO

We danced that day to the pianos magical tune,
as our bodies swayed to its soft and slow song,
our hips swaying to the subtle changes of its syncopation,
and as I looked into your eyes,
I fell in love with you in that moment,
that moment in which we heard a critical change in the pianos song,
a song of love that carried both our bodies along.

We danced the day away in a daze under its magical spell,
for there was no player there,
but somehow,
this magical piano,
it played for us,
coaxed notes out of its ivory keys for us,
all day long.

We danced and we danced,
in movements of subtlest persuasion,
and in this magical song,
we let love take its time;
just as in the subtlety of the songs notes,
we let loves subtle tones work their way through,
as notes of love and passion the same,
they floated to the surface of our skin,
and from one soft body to another,
they flowed effortlessly through.

Just as with the pianos switching of modes,
the tones of our feelings changed too,
and when the piano played its minor modes in black keys,
we danced with more proactive and provocative positions,
and when the piano switched back to playing more in its white keys,
our dance had come back to the dance of two lovers,
lovers kissing in a soft and cool summer breeze.

The feeling of our love,
as the song that was being played,
its flavor was subtle and sweet,
for at the beginning of the dance we were not in love with each other,
but through the meandering of notes meanings that stirred within,
the feeling of this thing called being in love,
by the end of the song,
it was fully flushed out,
as love in fullness touched both our skin.

As we came to realize this,
and we slowly lowered ourselves,
and we came to make love on the floor,
its hardwood coolness had braced us,
as,
under the pianos soft tune,
our bodies begged for more.

This love making,
it was subtle,
gentle and slow,
extoled in its virtues by the soft meanderings of the pianos sweet song,
and we followed along as the notes played us into it,
a feeling of entering a love between us,
a love that we both know will never go wrong.

We yearned to grow closer to it,
the gentleness of the pianos cradling love song,
and so I straddled you upon the seat,
the seat meant for the piano player,
and than I entered you softly,
lovingly,
achingly,
and I made the sweetest rhythm of it,
Codas and D.C Al Fini's of aching passionate entry,
as climax was reflected in a soft yet powerful denouement,
sung as a subtle crescendo in the pianos soft song.

We tumbled gently to the floor in the ecstasy of it,
and your body arched up to meet my embrace,
and when I looked upon you,
I saw the pianos notes of loves revelry,
shown as the subtlest of smiles that played upon your generous lips,
lips that formed the warmest of smiles upon your ever loving face.

You spread your hips wide to me,
as the pianos tune grew more expansive,
still subtle yet at the same time more grand,
and as your back arched up with the notes of crescendo,
one word played played huskily across your lips,
and though I had already climaxed,
and all you could gasp was
"more."

You took me inside you yet again,
as in ache,
your face,
it turned to the side,
and I exploded inside you in an uncommon way,
my issuing of aches issue not exploding,
but seeping inside you sensually,
every bit of my essence annoucing the warmth of my loves embrace,
and the slow receding of your bodies arch,
it reflected the fading crescendo of pianos notes,
and "THANK YOU" was said in a gasp,
and I cried a single tear at the conclusion of one of the pianos movements,
and I came to realize in that moment,
that
...YOU are the woman I love,
YOU are the woman I adore.

So we grow to stand now,
after making love under the influence of the pianos sweet song,
and we continue to dance,
though are bodies from love making are naked and sore,
we dance under the notes of pianos sweet notes of caresses,
caressed with its gift of loves notes that carried us along,
for we danced that day to the piano,
fell in love,
and never shall we forget its sweet song.
