This month's edition of The Ambient Archives is three drifting, atmospheric pieces of ambient music.

While they have a gentle style, the noise of the city is in there. Despite the tag, I don't really think this is New Age Music, Landscape Music would fit the bill more closely. The granular synths used on some parts are gritty rather than smooth but I've found them inspiring to use.

The track titles come from, in order,
a mishearing of a place name on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (the best Star Trek, obviously!),
the place where I have walked a lot over the last year and where the cover photo for this album was taken,
the way that American visitors to this country, apparently, pronounce the name of city of Loughborough.

The granular synth used on the last track and the effects used on it, produce a sound very similar to one of my favourite ever ambient tracks and I make no apologies for that!
