This month's edition of The Ambient Archives is perhaps a flavour of things to come. Recently, I have been experimenting with new ways of making music, using new options for sound and layering improvised sections rather than improvising pieces from scratch live in one take. It has been an interesting and inspiring way of working.

September's edition will continue this journey with perhaps a surprise or two.

A new album of piano music will be available to all listeners later this month.
