Berkdrums Another double album, out of the blue... this one goes deep, to me it feels we're diving deeper into drone-territory.. For the first time I even noticed some Tomas Weiss / Klaus Wiese in Brin's work, for instance on In and Out of Reality & Hummingbirds in Slow Motion. To me there's one minor dissapointment: Tall Trees fades away just at the point where this beauty crawls under your skin.. maybe it was an experiment that ran into a ditch.. but this is definitely the only minor flaw in my opinion. Immerse yourself again, another must-have!

An album of slow and drifting ambient music available on double CD and download.

Due to a hectic few months (getting married, university assignments), I had no time to make any music. The music on this album was the first music I created after an unbelievable three month hiatus.

This album continues my exploration of minimal music, the idea that less is more. The pieces are continuous and often sound vast but I want to slow things down and not bombard the listener. I want the music to sound that it just happened, a natural occurrence, like a random cloud formation or the sound of wind blowing through the trees.

It may sound like I'm overthinking all of this but rest assured, I still just press record and see where the music takes me.
