Berkdrums I have found a true companion in Richard Gürtler, who is just like me, not only a crazy 'all-things-ambient-aficionado' but also in heart and soul a collector of CD and vinyl of all things ambient.. why? I guess because we grew up not only listening to music but we looked, gazed, read, soaked up the albumcovers.., holding it, touching it, feeling it, smelling the vinyl, the inlay, the booklet.., to be really one with an album.. as if it became a part of you, of the time in which it was released... that stays with me all my life, I will ALWAYS go for the complete picture: the physical album.., maybe it has also to do with being a musician myself.., okay, drifting off.., sorry.. but hád to say this because the Bing Satellites-downloads-only are about the only downloadalbums I own.., why? On Wednesday 26th June 2013, I performed a 2 hour concert of completely improvised ambient and electronic music on my weekly radio show Mostly Ambient on radio.electro-music.com
