about

An ambient electronic music concert performed and broadcast live 5th December 2012 on my weekly radio show Mostly Ambient on radio.electro-music.com

You can also find details and download podcasts of my radio show at www.bingsatellites.com/radio

The music was completely improvised.
I had no set plan of what I was going to do - I just switched everything on and pressed record.
I had a few field recordings and atmospheres ready but actually used very little of these.

The music is performed on Novation K Station synth, Korg TR rack synth, Reason and Ableton Live.
I also played baritone guitar (using a cello bow in the first section) through my pedal board.
And because I know some of you will want to know, for this performance, the pedal board consisted of
Behringer SM200 Slow Motion, KenMulti MCH-7 Chorus, Zoom 506 Bass multi FX, Behringer VM1 Vintage Time Machine, Behringer RV600 Reverb Machine, Digitech X series digidelay, Zoom 507 guitar multi FX, Boss DD20 gigadelay plus Boss DD3 delay (in a feedback loop) and another Behringer RV600 Reverb Machine through the mixing desk.
