A new collection of ambient music improvised, broadcast and recorded live by Bing Satellites.

Occasional, I broadcast live ambient sets from my studio in Manchester.
There is no schedule for these broadcasts, although I usually announce them on www.facebook.com/bingsatellites

This music was broadcast live on mixlr.com/bingsatellites on 27 July 2012.

For those of you who wish to know such things, on these recordings, I used a baritone tuned stratocaster copy (tuned down 5 semitones so the strings play B E A D F# B) with the following pedals (in order from guitar to mixer) -
Behringer CS100 Compressor/Sustainer,
Behringer SM200 Slow Motion,
KenMulti MCH-7 Chorus,
Zoom 506 Bass multi fx (adds a subtle octave below note played as well as more chorus, delay and reverb),
Behringer VM-1 Vintage Time Machine,
Behringer RV600 Reverb Machine,
Digitech X-series DigiDelay,
Zoom 507 Guitar multi fx,
Boss DD-20 Giga Delay,
Boss DD-3 Delay (feedback loop on mixer),
Zoom Studio 1204 Reverb (Rack)

I also used the Novation K Station synth along with synths and piano in Reason with everything recorded in Ableton Live.

The cover photograph was taken in Lyme Park, Cheshire, July 2012.
It shows a large area including much of Greater Manchester as well as parts of Cheshire.
